Hello there! My name is Shaoyan.
I am an LA based graphic designer/creative strategist with a passion for all things visually compelling. I was raised in the SF Bay Area where I learned to draw and illustrate, which quickly developed my interests for the creative world. I studied graphic design and built experience at agencies and as a freelancer. Since, I have worked on high-profile ad campaigns, visual branding projects, and commercial production sets.
In my free time I love to travel, cook, surf, and play basketball. Some of my favorite musicians are Lauryn Hill, Blood Orange, Smino, Al Green, Beach Fossils, The Strokes, and Frank Ocean. My favorite movies include Before Sunrise, Waves, The Farewell, Parasite, Sound of Metal, The Pursuit of Happyness, and Ratatouille.
